Among householders, the last two days of the old year are devoted to house and shrine cleaning and preparing for the new year. During this time a special Vajrakilaya ritual is carried out to dispel all the negativity of the old year and clear the way for an auspicious beginning to the new year. It is customary to do Vajrakilaya practice on this day, please feel free to join another centre or practice on your own.
