In this time when our lives can feel speedy and stressful, our hearts breaking with every news cycle, and our minds out of control, we may feel the need an Operator’s Manual for the Human Heart/Mind. Fortunately, such a manual has been around since the 13th century and it still works for the problems of the 21st Century! It’s called, Lojong, and it is organized around 59 pithy sayings. Each one is a support for realizing the vast potential of the human heart/mind. Please join us weekly (or occasionally) on Wednesday for a period of guided meditation and contemplation and an introduction to one of the sayings. Before concluding, we always have time for comments and questions.
Meditational deity practice on the Medicine Buddha is carried out to pacify all physical and mental illnesses, diseases and suffering caused by all disturbing emotions such as anger, desire, pride, ignorance & jealousy.
